In May and June 2025, the Galvanotechnik editorial team conducted a reader survey. The readers' responses were used to conduct a qualitative analysis of numerous questions, which yielded remarkable and encouraging results for the editorial team. Conclusion: Electroplating technology works - and how!
- Almost 9 out of 10 readers are specialists, managers and decision-makers - in other words, precisely those who make a difference in the electroplating industry.
- 9.8 readers per issue: The content and advertisements are effective - one magazine reaches an average of 10 readers. At the same time, the reading time is impressive: more than two thirds state that they spend more than 30 minutes reading the magazine, while just under a quarter spend up to two hours or more on an issue.
- Contrary to the trend towards digital media consumption, the print edition remains strong: around 8 out of 10 readers prefer the printed edition, while only 2 out of 10 readers use the online service or read the e-paper.
- And the advertisements in the magazine also pay off for advertisers: More than 85% of Galvanotechnik readers pay attention to the advertising and for around 38% this has already resulted in business contacts.
