The surface chemicals specialist SurTec has acquired the Italian-based company Aluservice. Aluservice specializes in the research, development and distribution of chemical specialities for the surface treatment of aluminium, zinc, steel and iron alloys.
The range includes products for aluminium anodizing, aluminium coating processes, electroplating of ferrous metals and the coating of other metals. Aluservice is a leader in the architectural market in Italy. SurTec will offer Aluservice's well-established products worldwide via the SurTec distribution network and further internationalize the business. "We see great potential for expanding our business outside Italy thanks to Aluservice's excellent know-how and outstanding product portfolio," said Dr. Karsten Grünke, CEO of the SurTec Group. Aluservice has been developing its own formulations for chemicals, processes and technologies for 40 years. All products have been developed with the aim of combining the highest quality demanded by the market with cost-effectiveness. In future, Aluservice's global customers will be able to access SurTec's worldwide sales network and technical expertise.
