The Dekra laboratory for technical textiles and films is expanding its range of services. Following the move to new premises, an extended Biax test stand enables even more precise and comprehensive tests.
The Laboratory for Technical Textiles and Films has recently moved into new premises together with the Dekra Laboratory for Environmental and Product Analysis in order to be able to react even faster and more flexibly to customer inquiries. The new laboratory premises are located in Stuttgart at Handwerkstraße 17 in the immediate vicinity of the Dekra headquarters.
The laboratory is a recognized, independent testing laboratory. It also has DAkkS accreditation in accordance with DIN EN 17025 for testing procedures in the field of plastics and textile fabrics. The Dekra experts support manufacturers, planners and contractors in all aspects of technical textiles. The laboratory is actively involved in numerous spectacular lightweight construction projects worldwide, including in a large number of soccer stadiums in Germany and abroad or, for example, on the façade of the striking "Thyssenkrupp Test Tower" in Rottweil.
