Laser Symposium Electromobility: Laser precision as a contribution to economic production in the field of electromobility
Experts and users met for the 6th time to discuss the use of laser technology in the production of electric vehicles at the Laser Symposium Electromobility (LSE 24) organized by the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology ILT in Aachen. The focus of the event on January 23 and 24, 2024 was on the precision of processing as a contribution to the sustainable and economical production of electric vehicles. In addition to classic applications, the possible applications of proven laser processes such as soldering, cutting and welding in battery technology solutions, especially for the production of battery modules and packs, were discussed in detail.
