MacDermid Enthone Industrial Solutions + Coventya restructure.
Christian KaiserOnSeptember 1, 2021, the Coventya Group was acquired by Element Solutions Inc. In the meantime, the connection between the MacDermid Enthone Industrial Solutions division and Coventya has progressed and new structures have been established.
As Vice President Europe, Robert Geissler is responsible for the entire European commercial area.
Geissler has worked in the industry since 1989 and has spent many years in the USA, Asia and now Europe. Europe has been divided into 4 regions: Southwest (Italy, Spain, France), Central-East (DACH, Benelux and Eastern Europe), Nordic (UK and Scandinavia) and Southeast (Turkey, North Africa and Middle East).
The Commercial division comprises all functions that are in direct contact with customers. This includes sales, technical service, laboratories and technical centers as well as internal sales.
Christian Kaiser is responsible for the Central-Eastern Europe region as Regional Business Director. The business graduate and state-certified electroplating technician was Managing Director at Microgleit Spezialschmierstoffe GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of Coventya, until the takeover in 2021. After training as a chemical laboratory technician and starting his career at Wieland Edelmetalle, Christian Kaiser had already worked for MacDermid for 13 years and therefore knows both companies inside out. He started at MacDermid as a laboratory manager, moved to sales in 2006 and later took over global product management for electroless nickel. After moving to Coventya in 2016, he took over the position of International Product Manager for Corrosion Protection.
Sven Pörschke is the Sales Manager for Northern Germany and Benelux. The chemical engineer has been working at Coventya for almost 14 years and has held various positions in technology, R&D and national and international product management. In his last position as Managing Director of Coventya GmbH, he was responsible for Sales, Technology, R&D and Human Resources.
Bernd Jansen is the Sales Manager for Southern Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The sales specialist has been with MacDermid (formerly Enthone) since 2002 and has played a key role in shaping the sales network there.
Miroslav Miskech is the Sales Manager for Eastern Europe. Before the 47-year-old Slovakian joined Enthone in 2007, he graduated from the School of Electrical Engineering, worked at Tesla Slovakia and was a customer service technician at Blasberg GmbH in Germany. He later returned to Slovakia as an independent representative of the company. In Slovakia, he became Managing Director at Enthone s.r.o. and later at MacDermid Enthone s.r.o. He was responsible for sales in Slovakia, Poland and the Czech Republic.
Christian Säuberlich is responsible for the technical area as Technical Manager Central East together with his deputy Stefan Diße. Master electroplater Christian Säuberlich has been working in the industry since 1988. At the Group's predecessor companies Blasberg Oberflächentechnik, Enthone GmbH and MacDermid Enthone GmbH, he has held a wide variety of positions in technical service for electroplating technology. In addition to his professional commitments, the 49-year-old Säuberlich holds numerous honorary positions. Stefan Diße has been Technical Manager at Coventya since the beginning of 2020, responsible for application technology, service laboratory and physical testing. The master electroplater previously worked as Head of Operational Technology at HDO Druckguss- und Oberflächentechnik GmbH and for 14 years at Kiesow Dr. Brinkmann GmbH & Co. KG, first as a field application engineer and later as Sales Manager Germany.
With Jochen Oberholz, the Central-East organization has a sales executive with a high level of expertise in the team with a focus on new business acquisition. Jochen Oberholz was most recently Head of Sales for the entire DACH region at Coventya. The 55-year-old state-certified electroplating technician previously held various positions in sales and production.
Christiane Hanskötter is responsible for ensuring that the internal sales department runs smoothly. The trained industrial clerk is familiar with all areas of commercial administration and has been with the Group for 24 years as Internal Sales Manager. As an experienced internal sales expert, the 56-year-old coordinates the processes at the Langenfeld and Gütersloh sites.
Uwe Berger, the previous Business Director Central-East, took over the role of European Product Director on September 1, 2021. Uwe Berger is a state-certified technician for chemistry. He has been with MacDermid Enthone and its predecessor companies since 1980 and has worked in various positions in the areas of technical support, R&D, marketing and sales. As Product Director, he supports the various product lines (corrosion protection, wear protection, Deko-POP, pre-treatment, etc.).

The focus in the development of new processes continues to be on sustainability, occupational safety and efficiency in order to make customers even more successful. The main goal of the merger is to improve capabilities and offer customers the highest quality and best service with the best team.
