Plasmatreat GmbH, an atmospheric plasma technology company from Steinhagen, Germany, supports digitized production with its Plasma Control Unit (PCU) and provides a variety of control, regulation and monitoring functions to ensure consistently high quality and reproducibility of surface treatment and 100% process control.
Various monitoring modules are combined in the Plasma Control Unit (PCU). This means that not only production data, but also data for predictive maintenance is continuously recorded and supports smooth production. All process data is provided in real time.
The individual system components of Plasmatreat's plasma systems (plasma control unit and generator) are perfectly designed for use in intelligent process lines with Industry 4.0 in mind. They are connected via EtherCAT / CANopen gateways. This means that the interfaces are defined in such a way that they can be used for various automation systems. Integration into existing production lines and network infrastructures is also possible.
