Continuing education 2025 at Fraunhofer IFAM
The Fraunhofer IFAM will continue to offer a comprehensive range of further training courses in 2025. Information can be found at www.kleben-in-bremen.de and www.faserverbund-in-bremen.de. The "23rd Bremen Adhesive Bonding Days" will take place from July 2 - 3, 2025. There will also be an additional EAB refresher and an additional EAS refresher in February 2025 at the cooperation partner Innotech Marketing und Konfektion Rot GmbH in Rettigheim. In the area of fiber composite technology, the seminar "3D printing of fiber-reinforced plastics" will be offered for the first time. The date here is October 28-29, 2025. This year is all about the anniversary "30 years of bonding in Bremen".
29th NDVaK
The New Dresden Vacuum Technology Colloquium (NDVaK) - Coating, Modification and Characterization of Polymer Surfaces - will take place from 6-7 November 2024 at the Leibniz Institute of Polymer Research Dresden e. V. This year's topic is "Plastics and Surfaces in the Context of Climate Change". Planned focal points are:
- Active surfaces
- Material and process efficiency
- recycling
- Biopolymers
The conference languages are German and English. In addition to the presentations, there will also be an evening program.
16th International Conference on Surfaces, Coatings and Nanostructured Materials
This conference will take place from July 5 - 10, 2025 in Naples, Italy. It offers a unique platform for information and exchange of experience in the field of materials-related nanoresearch and nanotechnology. Abstracts are requested by March 15, 2025 at the latest.
18th Aachen Surface Technology Colloquium
The event, which will take place in Aachen on December 6, 2024, will present current research topics, innovative developments and new industrial applications in the field of surface technology. It will highlight the areas of materials, processes and applications. Experts in the field of surface technology from industry, research and teaching as well as students and interested laypersons are cordially invited to attend. The colloquium is organized in cooperation with the Förderverein des Instituts für Oberflächentechnik e. V. (Association for the Promotion of the Institute of Surface Technology). The IOT specializes in research and development in coating technology (PVD/CVD, build-up soldering, thermal spraying), in the field of brazing as well as in accompanying modelling and simulation. The range of materials is very diverse and includes pure metals, metal alloys, intermetallic materials and hard metals as well as oxide and special ceramics, cermets, hard materials, hard alloys, fiber-reinforced materials and polymers.
