Flux-filled: Robot and laser soldering

Flux-filled: Robot and laser soldering

Indium offers CW-232, a specially designed flux-cored solder wire that combines fast wetting and spreading with extremely low spatter. CW-232 is a highly active rosin filler wire developed to meet the requirements of robot-assisted and laser soldering.

It shows improved wetting properties and thus realizes a higher throughput during the soldering process. CW-232 is also very suitable for hand soldering applications. Due to its 'no-spatter' technology, CW-232 eliminates flux spattering, which can cause burn injuries to operators or interfere with the vision system of robotic soldering equipment. It leaves only a light and very bright residue and is compatible with lead-free and SnPb solder alloys.
