The new EVS18KLF solder recovery system from EVS International not only offers a larger 18 kg crucible, which enables users to recover larger quantities of solder dross and therefore a faster amortization of the system. The further development of the supplier's well-known recycling systems is also designed with an all-round sealed housing, which also contains the solder dross crucible and the fume extraction system.
An innovative tilting pot mechanism makes it possible to dispense with the bulky air rams and the end door. The solder material bars are produced by inverting and rotating the solder metal and dross deposition crucible and a new type of hot air-activated automatic drain tap. The new, patented technology from EVS also enables residue-free ingots, as it filters the solder material through a special gauze. Hence the extraordinarily high recovery of up to 80 % solder material. The simple and robust design of the EVS 18KLF complies with ISO-14001. The device is equipped with a practical touchscreen display and is fully automatic.
