Companies can benefit by flexibly adapting their electricity demand to the electricity supply. However, most companies are not yet aware of the dimensions of energy-flexible production. A quick check tool from the Kopernikus project SynErgie helps to identify potential cost savings and revenues.
For energy-intensive companies in particular, this results in financial revenue opportunities. One tool for this is the so-called quick check tool.
Grid charge optimization: In order to minimize the annual costs for grid charges, companies can reduce peak loads or use grids atypically or constantly intensively.
Load shifting: With load shifting on the spot market, companies adjust their production and thus their electricity consumption to volatile electricity prices.
In-house generation: Companies can reduce their electricity procurement costs by generating their own electricity.
System services: Marketing, among other things, by switching off loads on the balancing power market.
