SWARCO is the partner of companies for topics such as "fleet management" and "charging of employee vehicles" - from the delivery, installation and operation of charging infrastructure to the billing of internal and external charging processes. With the SWARCO backend and the appropriate charging infrastructure, all requirements relating to electromobility can be covered from a single source.
But what if the power grid at a location is not designed for conventional fast-charging technologies? This is where the High Power Charger (HPC) with battery connection from ADS-TEC offers the solution. With the HPC booster, ordinary electricity from the grid is "boosted" to high-power electricity using an integrated buffer battery. This enables charging within minutes at one or two charging stations that are set up separately from the compact battery system. The result is a charging system with flexible connection options that allows every customer to set up a suitable charging infrastructure, regardless of location.
SWARCO thus offers companies a future-proof and efficient charging solution for company, employee and customer vehicles. The all-round service with 24/7 availability of the high charging capacity, including call center support for end customer or employee questions, is of course included. A network of certified sensor and charging station suppliers and 250 highly qualified service technicians in Germany alone are available for this purpose.
"The HPC boosters from ADS-TEC are an ideal addition to our e-mobility portfolio. Now we can also offer our complete range of services to companies with power-limited power grids," says Marcus Anders, Managing Director of SWARCO Traffic Systems GmbH.
Thomas Speidel, CEO of ADS-TEC and President of the German Association for Energy Storage Systems (BVES), is delighted that the strategic cooperation with SWARCO means that the urgently needed fast-charging infrastructure can be made available for the rapidly growing number of electric cars - even without the need for lengthy and expensive grid expansion at almost any location. "With around 900 ultra-fast charging points, our systems already reliably deliver high charging capacities at many locations in the distribution network, for example in the middle of large cities. SWARCO has a lot of experience in setting up and managing complex infrastructures in large areas. It is an important step and a confirmation of our platform offerings that SWARCO is relying on the compact, powerful and low-noise ADS-TEC technology to close the charging gaps even at power-limited locations."
