With the successor to SpillGuard, SpillGuard connect, Denios has launched a new product that integrates spill trays into a company network, bringing the storage of hazardous substances into the digital age. In addition to a visual and audible alarm, the new leakage warning system also sends a message in real time to an end device of choice (smartphone, tablet, desktop PC) in the event of contact with liquid hazardous substances.
Users are thus automatically shown in which drip tray a leak has occurred and can initiate measures more quickly. The device can be installed in any drip tray, works autonomously and offers an unlimited range with a battery life of up to 5 years.
Reliable and centralized remote monitoring of the spill trays equipped with SpillGuard connect is carried out via the Denios connect web application. This makes it easy to manage multiple detectors, displaying status data such as ambient temperature and battery charge status. At the same time, the operating status is documented once a week, which can be submitted as a PDF report during an audit for the weekly prescribed visual inspection of spill trays in accordance with the Steel Tray Directive (StawaR) / TRGS 510.
