The air conditioning systems will be fully integrated into the ecosystem around the intelligent control and electricity market software Heartbeat AI: This means that households in Germany can now also take direct advantage of negative prices on the electricity exchange for air conditioning and become an active part of the energy transition. 1Komma5° is the first provider in Germany to combine cooling, storage, dynamic electricity tariffs and intelligent control to create a fully integrated energy system for households.
Worldwide and in Germany, the demand for cooling will increase significantly over the next 15 years. Urbanization and, not least, climate change are driving factors. As temperatures rise, so does the power consumption of air conditioning systems - often when a lot of PV power is available anyway. Heartbeat AI uses favorable PV surpluses, storage and price signals to make air conditioning systems system-friendly and cost-efficient. Heartbeat AI stores electricity fully automatically when it is cheap - and uses it later for cooling or sells it to the grid when prices are particularly high.
