The Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology ILT is mobilizing the new "Lasers in Hydrogen Technology" network, in which suppliers and users with different areas of expertise will find an exchange platform for the topic of lasers and photonics for hydrogen technology.
In this network, current research and development topics relating to laser processes for fuel cells and electrolysers are discussed and new research alliances are formed with the aim of rapid industrial implementation. As a platform for these developments, the Aachen-based institute offers project partners its Hydrogen Lab for laser processes, which covers the entire process chain from forming technology to cell testing.
