Green technology entrepreneurs from Vienna have now launched an initiative to get to grips with the growing mountains of plastic waste. Specifically, untreated plastic waste is to be converted into liquid and gaseous fuels for further processing by means of pyrolysis.
The technology is mature, now it is a matter of creating public awareness for its use, says the Managing Director of GoPlastikNeutral GmbH, Markus Müller (44). The project is to be financed with a fundraising campaign on the Internet.
