The Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs (BMAS) has released the new SARS-CoV-2 Occupational Health and Safety Regulation for publication. It was drawn up jointly by the occupational health and safety committees at the Federal Ministry of Labor under the coordination of the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (BAuA).
The rule presents measures for all areas of economic life with which the risk of infection for employees can be reduced and kept at a low level.
The SARS-CoV-2 Occupational Health and Safety Rule will enter into force shortly after publication in the Joint Ministerial Gazette. It specifies the requirements for occupational health and safety in accordance with Section 5 of the Infection Protection Act.
