After all major well-known electroplating events fell victim to the well-known corona pandemic this year, a small group of complementary specialist companies initiated a special kind of small but fine trade fair - the Galvanozirkel.
With the companies Aucos, Harter, Linnhoff, Mazurzak, Sager and Mack as well as Munk GmbH, established specialist companies decided to organize a two-day trade event with an in-house exhibition and lectures.
The electroplating circle was launched at Sager und Mack in Ilshofen, Baden Württemberg. For example, tours of the company were offered, which were very popular with all visitors. Of course, the physical well-being was well taken care of.
Munk GmbH presented the new tower high-current technology, as well as the cost-effective entry-level technology, the Munk Box concept. The central concept was the digitalization of device technology in the tough everyday industrial environment. The so-called Munk Gateway fulfills this requirement, because on the one hand it is an interface based on Ethernet and on the other hand it uses globally available industrial components that guarantee every user a high degree of availability and process reliability. In this respect, this digital interface solution combines an innovative claim with the elementary basic requirement of being able to be used worldwide in the long term.

On both days, the Munk GmbH trade fair team also provided information on the topics of power quality, digitalization and plant safety in accordance with current standards. There was a great deal of interest in these topics and extensive technical discussions were held until the "come together" in the evening.
In retrospect, it was a very interesting experience for each of the exhibiting companies, after which uni sono finally agreed to continue the electroplating circle in the foreseeable future.
For Munk GmbH, this event was also an opportunity to draw attention to its 50th anniversary. This company anniversary has so far been overshadowed by Corona, but was once again clearly communicated during the two days in Ilshofen. Munk will continue to support this great event and is already looking forward to the follow-up event at a location of the participating companies!
