Future-proof products are not only consistently produced according to all sustainability standards, but also enable users to make their own manufacturing processes safer, more efficient and more sustainable. At Surface Technology 2022, SurTec will be presenting its innovative technologies from the fields of functional and decorative electroplating.
The focus will be on the SurTec 883 XT chromium(III) process, which is a complete replacement for conventional chromium(VI) processes in every respect, and the new SurTec 851 for exclusive designs with a satin sheen. The surface technology specialist will also be showcasing its new developments in the field of functional electroplating. Here, SurTec has succeeded in optimizing the classic galvanizing or zinc alloying processes in such a way that the most innovative applications are possible under only slightly modified conditions.
SurTec will be giving a presentation on "Current requirements for passivation layers in cathodic corrosion protection" in the event section of the trade fair. Marc Longerich, Project Manager Functional Electroplating Technology at SurTec Germany, will be discussing developments in the field of passivation that meet all requirements for resource conservation, low temperature and recyclability while providing optimum corrosion protection.
