The new G3VM-201WR MOSFET relay from Omron Electronic Components Europe combines high current capability (200 V / 0.35 A) and a high ambient temperature range with a small mounting footprint. This makes it an excellent choice for test and measurement equipment. G3VM-201WR is a 200 V addition to the manufacturer's existing MOSFET relay portfolio. It offers an improved PSON (Small Outline No Lead) design with four connection pins. This ensures high heat dissipation and the terminal shape leads to better solder connections.
With a size of 3.4 x 2.1 mm and ambient temperatures from -40 to +110˚C, the compact design can withstand a 75% higher current load (0.35 A, 49 mA/mm²) than a comparable SOP4 relay (0.2 A, 7.3 mA/mm²). It also offers a fast on/off time of 1 ms. Omron's MOSFET relay portfolio also includes VSON and S-VSON (2 x 1.45 x 1.65 mm) package types with load voltages up to 100 V for applications with critical space requirements.
