SFET relays G3VM-401 and G3VM-601 from Omron Electronic Components Europe are suitable for applications in electricity meters and industrial control systems thanks to their high dielectric strength and operating temperature resistance. Also new: G3VM-41UR as a highly sensitive device with low on-resistance and low output capacitance in an ultra-compact VSON package for test and measurement applications such as ATE.
Operating temperatures can be a challenge for electricity meter designers. G3VM-401 and G3VM-601 can withstand ambient temperatures up to 110 °C. They also offer a high dielectric strength of 5000 V AC and are available for surface mounting and in through-hole form with SPST-NO contacts. With their low tripping current of 2 mA, they are very economical. G3VM-401 can operate up to 400 V at 120 mA, G3VM-601 up to 600 V at 90 mA.
The new G3VM-41UR component is characterized by a low CxR value of 10 pF*Ω and operates up to 40 V at 0.25 A. This is exceptional for a component of this size as a compact alternative to types in SOP4 housings and reed relays. With a low switch-on resistance of 2 Ohm and a low output capacitance of 5 pF, it is suitable for switching test signals in ATE systems and other applications in test, measurement and communication technology.
