The LPKF Supervisory Board has appointed Britta Schulz as an interim member of the Management Board, thus signaling great confidence in the strategy of LPKF's management with regard to the vacancy on the Management Board: With her appointment, a true 'LPKF native' will take over the position on the two-member Management Board that became vacant on May 1.
The businesswoman joined the company in 1996, took over responsibility for Sales and Marketing in the Development segment in 2004 and has successfully managed this division since 2010. The Supervisory Board believes that Britta Schulz is the perfect candidate to represent the interests of the company and its shareholders in the best possible way and to provide the necessary support to the current CFO Christian Witt until a new CEO is appointed. "Thanks to my many years of experience at LPKF and in the industry, I know which topics and trends are on the agenda, both in the areas of research and the production of electronic components as well as in our Laser Plastic Welding and Photovoltaics segments." The two areas of responsibility as Head of a business division and as a member of the Management Board do not put her under any pressure: "In terms of organization, we will ensure that all processes continue to run optimally despite my dual role. It's a big challenge for everyone, but it will work because I have an excellent team that I can rely on at all times."
