Not just clean, but pure! - Production in the clean room

Reflow-Lötanlage von Rehm Thermal Systems im Reinraum (Bild: Rehm Thermal Systems)

To ensure that the soldering systems produced by Rehm Thermal Systems for use in cleanrooms are as free as possible from tiny particles, the company has set up a cleanroom at its plant in Dongguan, China. This is suitable, for example, for the production of the VisionX Semico reflow soldering system for semiconductor manufacturing, the design of which has been consistently geared towards compliance with all specifications for operation in cleanrooms.

The semiconductor industry is a typical example of industries that must exclude even the tiniest impurities from airborne particles in the production environment: e.g. dust, exhaust fumes or pollen must not exceed narrowly defined limit values for their concentration in the room air in order not to jeopardize the quality or functionality of the products manufactured there. Rooms that meet these requirements (defined in EN ISO 14644) are referred to as clean or ultra-clean rooms. Working environments in cleanrooms are usually characterized by special protective clothing, work equipment, production facilities and tools.

Rehm Thermal Systems' systems can now be produced under clean room conditions at the plant in Dongguan, China.
