As part of a strategic agreement, Rohde & Schwarz is cooperating with the US company Benchmark Electronics to expand its global production capacities in order to meet the growing demand for its products. This is intended to relieve the existing plants in Teisnach and Memmingen, as well as the Czech site in Vimperk, which are operating at full capacity. The decision to expand production through the long-term partnership with Benchmark was taken by Rohde & Schwarz after an extensive evaluation of various EMS (electronic manufacturing services) companies.
