In mid-December 2018, Thilo Kuhn, authorized signatory and member of the management team at Umicore Galvanotechnik GmbH, Schwäbisch Gmünd, celebrated his 50th birthday.
He completed a dual degree in business administration at the Schwäbisch Gmünd-based company from 1989 to 1992. After successfully completing his studies, Thilo Kuhn took on regional sales responsibility within the company before working as Managing Director at Umicore Precious Metals Thailand in Bangkok from 2005 to 2010. After his return, Thilo Kuhn headed up Technical Sales at Umicore Galvanotechnik GmbH in Schwäbisch Gmünd from March 1, 2010 and, thanks to his many years of international industry experience, qualified as an exemplary member of the Management Board. Since December 1, 2014, Thilo Kuhn has headed the Sales and Marketing division as an authorized signatory and head of department and has operational responsibility for precious metals trading.
