The members of the Association of the German Spring Industry (VDFI) have named KST Kugel-Strahltechnik the best service provider in the last three years in the field of surface treatment. The VDFI presents this award in four categories. In the service provider category, the association members evaluate their suppliers, including hardening shops, coaters, electroplating shops and shot blasters. Association Managing Director Wolfgang Hermann presented the certificate to the KST team led by Managing Directors Eckhard and Marco Heinemann in Hagen a few days ago.

KST shot peening technology was already at the top of the field in previous elections with scores between 1.80 and 1.43. For the current evaluation period from 2017 to 2019, the surface specialist has now taken first place with the top score of 1.33.
40 percent better than average in terms of delivery reliability
The industrial service provider scored highest in the areas of adherence to delivery dates, complaints and complaints handling. In terms of meeting delivery deadlines, the Hagen-based company scored 1.25, almost 40 percent above the average (2.01). They also scored well above average for product labeling, technical service and flexibility when submitting offers.
Assessment honors customer orientation
"This recognition reflects our corporate philosophy - the topic of customer orientation ranks right at the top. The good ratings honor this," says a delighted Marco Heinemann. KST Kugel-Strahltechnik works for spring manufacturers throughout Germany - they are mostly suppliers to the automotive, mechanical engineering and electrical industries. With shot peening, the surface specialist optimizes components that are exposed to high continuous vibration loads.
