In the weeks since the application to open insolvency proceedings was filed, lawyer Andreas Grund, in his role as the company's provisional insolvency administrator, has worked with the managing director to stabilize business operations. The insolvency administrator sees the fact that several seriously interested potential investors who want to invest in Rentrop's future have already come forward as a positive signal. Insolvency proceedings were expected to be opened by the competent local court in Hagen at the beginning of January 2020. Business operations will be maintained without restriction beyond this date.
