DVS - Deutscher Verband für Schweißen und verwandte Verfahren e. V. (German Welding Society) is calling for abstracts for the DVS CONGRESS in 2022.
Experts, users, scientists, manufacturers, industry insiders and young academics are invited to actively help shape the DVS CONGRESS and enrich it with their knowledge.
Proposals for presentations on the following topics are welcome:

- Workshop practitioners / joining technology from practice for practice
- Interesting joining technology designs
- Damage cases and repair concepts
- Regulations, qualification, quality assurance, testing technology
- Processes and equipment (new and future joining technologies)
- Welding
- Cutting
- Bonding
- Additive manufacturing
- Thermal coating / surface technology
- Soldering
- Base materials, filler materials and auxiliary materials
- Research and development: transfer to application
- Energy technology/energy transition
- Steel construction/bridge construction
- Aircraft and spacecraft construction
- Electromobility
- Multi-material design: future-oriented lightweight construction through joining technology
- Artificial intelligence: solutions for joining technology
- Industry 4.0: Joining technology established in process chains
- Vehicle construction
The Call for Papers runs until December 8, 2021.
Abstracts will only be submitted online. After the deadline, the program committee, made up of renowned experts from industry and research, will review the submitted abstracts. The commission evaluates the submissions on a technical basis and then puts together the lecture program for next year's event.
The DVS CONGRESS will take place from September 19 to 21, 2022 in the Rhein-Mosel-Halle in Koblenz.
