Kemper GmbH is intensifying its activities in the OEM sector. As the new Head of Sales OEM, Carsten Trentau has recently taken over responsibility for the Automation division at the extraction technology specialist from Münsterland. The industry expert is pursuing the goal of establishing the extraction of hazardous substances as an integral part of automated welding and cutting applications. "In general, the area of extraction often takes a back seat to expensive software and lasers," says Trentau. "Whether you are a plasma, laser or robot manufacturer, we have the right solution for the necessary extraction - and in all performance classes for different budgets." In addition to expanding the project business, the focus is particularly on publicizing the new Kemper Automation product line. Before joining Kemper, the 55-year-old worked at Kjellberg in Finsterwalde. There, too, he worked for Plasma Technology in the OEM sector and therefore has relevant industry expertise. Trentau is married and has a daughter.
