DENIOS SC 2K 715 hazardous materials storage system
Now that the first prototype has passed its test, series production of the advanced SC hazardous materials storage system from DENIOS AG in Bad Oeynhausen will start in August 2020.
When it comes to the storage of flammable or water-polluting substances, you are on the safe side if the manufacturer of hazardous materials storage systems has the highest level of experience and the product has a wide range of equipment and all the necessary certifications. The latest generation of the SC hazardous materials storage system from DENIOS, the global market leader for industrial environmental protection and occupational safety, combines all these requirements with maximum flexibility for the customer.
Wide range of equipment
The new SC hazardous materials storage system takes the basic idea of its predecessor model significantly further: the standard version of the room system is suitable for storing up to 18 IBCs or 60 drums (200 liters each) and can be configured as required. The basic equipment includes a fully galvanized drip tray with WHG approval and a defined roof drainage system for the targeted drainage of rainwater. Another new feature is the base frame and the cladding made of pre-galvanized base material, which offers greater corrosion protection and therefore ensures a long service life. By switching to more modern manufacturing processes with precise laser-edging technology, spare parts that may be required for repairs due to collision damage, for example, can be replaced more quickly and costly downtimes can be avoided. If required, the use of an optional grid ensures optimum use of space for storing a wide variety of large container types, such as drums and IBCs. Depending on the configuration, up to 3 storage levels are possible. The SC hazardous goods storage system is currently available in 4 versions with one thermally insulated and one extra-deep version. By mid-2021, DENIOS will provide the usual variety with a total of 32 types. This means that a wide variety of substances of all water hazard classes can be stored safely at all times in compliance with the specific storage regulations.
Convenient service thanks to the variant configurator
DENIOS offers a special, exclusive service for configuring the right room system with the variant configurator. This software can be used to try out and visualize well over a thousand equipment options and configuration possibilities, including directly on site at the customer's premises, with the relevant legal requirements being automatically taken into account. Other equipment options include smart condition monitoring with the DENIOS Connect app and additional design packages with customized two-tone paint finishes.
Another advantage for international customers is the production concept developed at the DENIOS site in Bad Oeynhausen, which is also used at all other DENIOS production sites in Europe. Thanks to the modular structure, the customer always receives the individual configuration with consistent quality, taking into account country-specific legislation.
