Bioeconomy: building block of the circular economy - opportunities for products and processes
On February 24 and 25, 2021, Fraunhofer UMSICHT, CLIB - Cluster Industrial Biotechnology and the EnergyAgency. NRW are hosting the "BIO-raffiniert XI" congress in Oberhausen. The eleventh event in the congress series spans the arc from the bioeconomy to the circular economy. Apply now for a poster contribution or a lecture.
Raw materials must be processed precisely in flexible, modular processes. On the product side, properties such as biobasedness and biodegradability are becoming increasingly important for a circular economy. The product is also a new raw material - for this we need new product designs and processes based on circular principles. These and other challenges will be discussed at BIO-raffiniert XI.
Interested experts are invited to present their innovations and concepts relating to the circularity of bio-based and/or biodegradable products. There are two options for this: either in short presentations in German (10 min presentation + 5 min discussion) or as part of a poster presentation in English (with an introductory poster pitch).
The submission deadline for title proposals with a maximum one-page abstract ends on Friday, August 21, 2020. Please indicate whether you prefer to give a lecture or present a poster and whether you are free to do so.
