Since the beginning of March, the analytical laboratory at Galvanikservice.de has been using state-of-the-art technology for elemental analysis: The PlasmaQuant 9100 Elite from Analytik Jena is now in use and significantly increases the laboratory's analytical capabilities.
ICP-OES (Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectroscopy) is one of the most accurate methods for determining metals and trace elements in aqueous samples. The commissioning expands the portfolio in water and metal analysis. Even more detailed and accurate measurements are now possible. In the electroplating industry, the system is suitable for analyzing electrolytes, process water and deposits for process control and quality assurance, and in waste water and environmental analysis for checking heavy metal contamination in waste water in accordance with official regulations. It is also suitable for analyzing alloy components for quality assurance and process control in metal processing and materials testing. The device is characterized by high detection sensitivity, precision and efficiency. This enables reliable analyses with low detection limits and high reproducibility, as well as shorter analysis times with even higher quality measurement results.
