IP69K - Maximum protection from all 6 sides

Despite the toughest conditions and continuous use, noax industrial computers work reliably and do not lose any of their functions. Thanks to their completely enclosed stainless steel housing, nothing can penetrate the device. This is proven by the endurance test carried out by an independent institute, in which noax industrial computers withstood one of the toughest cleaning processes ever: High-pressure and steam jet cleaning in accordance with protection standard IP69K.

In industry, the failure of technology is synonymous with the loss of time, money and success. For this reason, it is essential to rely on reliable hardware with a long service life. "After all, you have to be able to rely on the industrial PCs. The IT staff are not in the building at midnight to intervene in an emergency," says an employee of Peter Mattfeld und Sohn GmbH. The areas of application for noax industrial PCs are as varied as the dangers to which they are exposed. Neither heat, cold, dust, dirt, moisture nor vibrations can harm them. The industrial computers from noax run flawlessly even under the most extreme conditions and lose none of their high performance despite continuous daily use.

Water-resistant. Dust resistant. IP69K

noax industrial computers have a completely enclosed stainless steel housing, without external fans or ventilation slots. There is even no gap between the touch display and the housing. This all-round protection guarantees perfect safety for all internal high-tech PC components. "Reliability is the be-all and end-all. We want hardware that puts system stability first," an employee of Franz Wiltmann GmbH & Co KG told us. Protection that reduces care and maintenance to a minimum so that repair costs remain manageable, but above all increases the service life of the PC, is extremely important when using industrial PCs. One customer summed this up with the sentence "I phone sales more often than I phone service".

This all-round protection is becoming increasingly important in the food processing industry. Germs are part of everyday working life in this sector and can be life-threatening. For this reason, human safety is the top priority. In order to comply with the extremely high hygiene regulations in the production of food, the systems and equipment are cleaned several times a day. Cleaning often involves using a high-pressure cleaner and harsh disinfectants such as acids and alkalis to completely remove dirt and germs. "The cold, the water, the humidity - none of these are friends of technology, the noax industrial PCs can withstand this procedure." Many customers rely on noax industrial PCs because their stainless steel housing acts like an armored wall even when exposed to 80 degree Celsius water jets hitting its surface at a water pressure of 100 bar. An external, independent institute has confirmed and certified that noax industrial computers do not lose any of their functions even when subjected to a tough cleaning method such as this.

Endurance test passed: IP69K from all 6 sides

For this endurance test, the hardware was placed on a turntable and exposed to the water jet from all six sides (top, bottom, left, right, front, back), each from different angles, for 30 seconds. Between 14 and 16 liters of water per minute were sprayed onto the industrial computer from a flat jet nozzle. The distance was between ten and fifteen centimeters in each case. Despite the enormous load that hit every square centimeter of the surface, no moisture penetrated inside and the hardware was not damaged. The industrial computer from noax therefore passed the test. This means that the noax industrial PCs are certified with protection class IP69K, the highest level of industrial protection for electronic devices.

The robust design of noax industrial PCs promises three things to a large number of companies from various sectors of industry, such as food processing, the pharmaceutical industry, production and logistics: safety in the process flow, reliability under the toughest conditions and protection for employees.
