After CCMT, Asia's largest machine tool trade fair this year, had to be canceled this year due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, IMAG is introducing a new virtual format for German exhibitors: With Germany online @ CCMT 2020, all 106 German exhibitors who were registered for the trade fair in Shanghai will now have a platform to present their products and services online.
This will allow the companies to remain visible on the Chinese market, maintain existing contacts and reach out to potential customers despite the trade fair being canceled. The format will run longer than the original five days of the trade fair and will also help German exhibitors prepare for CIMT, which will take place in Beijing in April 2021.
Peter Bergleiter, Managing Director of the German trade fair representative IMAG: "We want to establish this virtual format for both CIMT and CCMT in future as a digital supplement to the on-site trade fair. We are thus offering German exhibitors an extended platform to establish new contacts beyond the actual duration of the trade fair. And visitors can find out about companies and their products and make additional business contacts in addition to walking through the trade fair."
