Great demand for the anodizing colour fans from the German Association for the Surface Finishing of Aluminium (VOA) - companies, architects and façade builders like to use the color samples as a helpful tool in their daily work. The fans have now been reissued and can be ordered from the online store on the VOA website.
Not all black is the same. And even with "light bronze" there are different opinions as to what this color looks like. Depending on the material composition and surface properties, there may be color differences, so-called process tolerances. In order to prevent lengthy discussions between the client and the company carrying out the work about color differences that have occurred, previously agreed binding color and limit samples provide a remedy. This is where the anodizing colour fan comes into play. It is made of anodized aluminium and serves as an initial, rough colour guide for planning and coordination between the contractual partners. When the order is placed, the accepted spectrum with precisely described deviations must then be specified in the contract. With C-0 and C-31 to C-35, the VOA's anodizing colour fan represents the six most commonly used colors of anodized aluminium. Of course, the anodizing companies also offer other colors, such as the grey tones C-36 to C-38 or strong sandalor colors.
