DENIOS SE, based in Bad Oeynhausen, North Rhine-Westphalia, can be pleased to have received important qualified recognition: the SpillGuard connect leakage warning device developed in-house has received DIBt approval, an official certificate from the "Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik" in Berlin.
The SpillGuard connect is an innovative warning system for the storage of hazardous substances: the device is functional at the touch of a button and can be used in any drip tray. Should a leak occur, the SpillGuard connect detects this hazardous situation thanks to the built-in sensor and sounds the alarm - customers are informed in real time by email or text message and can therefore quickly rectify the situation and prevent major hazards.
Time-consuming checks are now a thing of the past
Previously, users had to fulfill their weekly operator obligations by regularly and laboriously visually inspecting all drip trays in the plant to check for liquids. A procedure that took a lot of time: A company with 20 drip trays, for example, used to take several hours a week to complete the prescribed inspection round. If you extrapolate this working time to a whole year, this company has spent more than seven working days carrying out this visual inspection of the sumps. Valuable working time that can now be put to better use thanks to the DIBt approval! The SpillGuard connect replaces this weekly visual inspection of the sump tray in accordance with the German Water Resources Act (WHG). In addition, the customer can have a report issued to prove for audits that all sumps are permanently monitored by the SpillGuard connect.
Best possible monitoring - even at night and at weekends
SpillGuard connect also ensures that customers have a better overview of different storage levels (e.g. high-bay warehouses), as they are informed immediately by the system in the event of any irregularities. Thanks to its recent approval from the "Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik", the DENIOS SE leak detector is becoming an indispensable round-the-clock monitor for anyone involved in the storage of hazardous substances.
