Saure Verkupferung

Die saure Verkupferung hat wesentlich an Bedeutung gewonnen und zwar auch bei der Erfüllung technischer Aufgaben (z. B. in der Elektronik). Die Härte, die Leitfähigkeit und die gleichmäßige Abscheidung in einheitlicher Dicke werden in diesem Aufsatz bevorzugt behandelt im Zusammenhang mit der Verwendung eines Elektrolyten mit niedriger Metallkonzentration. Die vorzügliche Leitfähigkeit des aus verdünntem und gut streuendem Bad abgeschiedenen Kupfers ist besonders bei der Herstellung gedruckter Schaltungen interessant.
In this paper the subject of acid copper plating is discussed, a process which has recently gained in importance due to the fact that modern processes can now well be applied for technical purposes, such as plating parts in the electronic industry. The authors describe a plating solution of low copper concentration notably with regard to hardness, conductivity, and uniformity in thickness. They point out that the copper deposits obtained from the diluted solution owning a good throwing power, show a first-class conductivity and are thus well suited for application in the manufacture of printed circuits.
