The Network for Bionic Developments Baden-Württemberg e.V. i.G. is currently announcing the first Baden-Württemberg award for innovations inspired/learned from nature. Individuals and representatives of companies and institutions based in Baden-Württemberg can apply.
The network wants to encourage tinkerers/inventors to submit all their bio-inspired/bionic developments. This time, it does not matter when the bio-inspired/bionic innovation was developed: The main thing is that there is a comprehensible derivation of how the product or process was "learned from nature". All areas of life and technology are addressed. For example, architects as well as bio-chemists + phyto-pharmacists can apply; of course, all engineering disciplines, but also economists are addressed.
The award will be presented on May 5, 2025 during a gala evening at the John Deere Forum Mannheim.
