BASF erweitert ihr wachsendes Portfolio an 14C-biobasierten Monomeren mit einem proprietären Verfahren zur Herstellung von 2-Octylacrylat (2-OA). Mit einem 14C-nachweisbaren biobasierten Anteil von 73 % gemäß ISO 16620 unterstreicht das neue Produkt das starke Engagement für Nachhaltigkeit. Neben dem regulären 14C-biobasierten 2-Octylacrylat bringt BASF das neue Produkt auch als 2-Octylacrylat BMB ISCC Plus auf den Markt – mit reduziertem CO₂-Fußabdruck.
