The winners of the Fit2clean Award 2024 were presented at the 32nd "Industrial Parts Cleaning" conference at the Dorint Hotel in Dresden on September 11, 2024. The Fachverband industrielle Teilereinigung e. V. (FiT) awarded the prize for the third time. The aim of the award, which is endowed with 10,000 euros, is to promote outstanding innovations and solutions in industrial cleaning technology. The award ceremony coincided with a milestone anniversary year for FiT: the trade association has now been in existence for 20 years.
The winner of this year's competition is Dortmund-based PartikelArt Solution GmbH, which took first place with an app for rapid particle analysis. Using AI-based image processing, the app enables particles to be analyzed and classified directly in production. This more cost-effective and faster alternative to laboratory analysis impressed the jury and was rewarded with the prize money and a one-year membership of FiT.
Acp Systems AG followed in second place. The company from Zimmern achieved second place with an innovative particle extraction device. The device, based onCO2 snow jet cleaning, removes even the smallest particles and offers an environmentally friendly solution for components with high technical cleanliness requirements.
Third place is particularly interesting for strip electroplaters in the PCB business: Kist + Escherich GmbH from Munich was recognized for its automated cleaning solution for PCB magazines. This dry, non-contact cleaning system prevents particle-related defects in electronics production.
A total of nine companies competed for the award. The prize will be awarded next year at parts2clean from October 7-9, 2025 in Stuttgart.
