After evaluating the more than 400 contributions submitted to the WerkstoffWoche congress, the lecture program for WerkstoffWoche 2019 is online. The same applies to the program of the metallography conference, which will also take place in Dresden as part of WerkstoffWoche.
Over three days, visitors can gain new insights into materials science, manufacturing and process technology topics and innovations in analysis and characterization methods and continue their education in the field of materialography.
The program is aimed at colleagues from all areas of materialography. Metallographic methods from sample preparation to microscopy and material analysis will be covered. The benefits of these examination methods are demonstrated on various materials, from steels, nickel-based and aluminum alloys and powder metallurgical materials to plastics and composites. Both classic and conventional as well as new manufacturing processes, such as additive manufacturing, will play a role in the lecture, poster and exhibition program. In recent years, it has become a tradition at metallography conferences to dedicate a separate session to the analysis of damage cases. As always, the 53rd Metallography Conference in Dresden will be complemented by an industrial exhibition.
