We look forward to the exciting growth opportunities with great confidence

Reischauer GmbH was founded in Idar-Oberstein in 1913 and initially supplied semi-finished and semi-finished products made of precious metals to the jewelry processing companies in Idar-Oberstein for many decades. Medals made of gold and silver materials were minted for the first time in the 1980s and business activities in the coin industry have been established and continuously expanded since the beginning of the current century. For around twelve years, Reischauer GmbH has been working exclusively for the coin industry, producing the highest quality blanks and embossing from precious metal and copper materials. Today, the traditional company from Idar-Oberstein is known and valued worldwide in the coin industry for its embossing with high and medium-high reliefs as well as for profiled embossing blanks.

With the acquisition of Reischauer GmbH, the Heimerle + Meule Group is systematically strengthening its already strong position in the European precious metals market. In the previous year, Heimerle + Meule had already significantly expanded its expertise in precious metal coins and medals with the acquisition of a majority stake in the British Commonwealth Mint.
