From July, the course will be set anew at IMO Oberflächentechnik GmbH in Königsbach-Stein. After more than 25 years with the company, Wolfgang Westphal, the long-standing management spokesman, took his well-deserved retirement at the end of June.
Westphal is an electroplating expert and industry expert par excellence and has been responsible for the areas of strip electroplating, quality, technology, maintenance and logistics at IMO for many years. In the early years from 1983-1995, he was head of the strip electroplating department. He then changed companies for several years and returned to IMO in March 2007. Initially in the role of plant manager, he was given power of attorney in 2011 and from 2015 to June 2020 he was a member and spokesman of the Executive Board.
