The Verband für die Oberflächenveredelung von Aluminium e. V. (VOA), the largest member of the European umbrella organization European Association for Surface Treatment on Aluminium (ESTAL), is involved in the planning of the ESTAL Congress, which takes place every two years - this time from 1 to 3 October 2025 in the Greek city of Thessaloniki.
Motto "Treatment of aluminum - innovations, trends, practices in a changing world"
The motto of the congress is "Treatment of aluminum - innovations, trends, practices in a changing world". It will focus on European competitiveness in the global trade context and market trends with an impact on the industry. Sustainability will also play a major role. Other topics include EU legislation on industrial emissions, decarbonization, sustainable chemicals and their impact on the surface finishing industry.
