At the AM-Austria general meeting, the new board team of the Austrian platform for 3D printing was unanimously elected by the numerous members present.
The previous Vice President Dr. Johannes Gartner took over the role of President, succeeding Johannes Homa, who had held this role for 7 years and thus since the founding of the association and now had to retire from this position for professional reasons. On behalf of Galvanotechnik, Dr. Wolfgang Hansal warmly congratulated the new President.
"I am deeply grateful and honored for the trust that has been placed in me through my election as President of the Additive Manufacturing Austria Technology Platform. I look forward to excellent cooperation with the entire Board team," said Dr. Gartner after his election.
The AM-Austria platform has set itself the goal of developing Austria into one of the world's most innovative pioneers in the field of additive manufacturing, above all in order to leverage the enormous potential of this technology for Austria as a business location. Both study results and a large number of current projects prove that Austria has an excellent starting point for positioning itself in this market in a first-class international comparison and becoming one of the most successful additive manufacturing hotbeds on our globe. The number of active members continues to grow from year to year.
